Our latest Project....

This summer we decided to fix our front porch/yard, for those that don't know, we are living in an old family home that my great great grandparents built. Just about everything that is in our house needs to be fixed up, so Dev and I are taking this house by storm, a very slow storm, but a storm non-the-less!
This is the oldest picture I have of the front of our house, I wish you could see the very beginning, there were old dead tree stumps and other junk that we had to cleaned up. And take a close look at the porch it is UGLY!

So, we painted the porch....

We added grass, and trimmed the bushes......

And we added a front gate and finished the sidewalk

Now we still have a few things to do, we didn't get the very top of our house painted, we need to get our hands on some scafolding for that, and we need some plants in our flower gardens, but overall I just love our front yard!

Love'n the bathroom

Well, as we have been spending alot of time in the bathroom since we have been potty training for the past 3 or maybe close to 4 weeks, Asher and I noticed a leak in the faucet and it wasn't doing too good. So it got fixed...and now Ashers favorite thing to do is grab his tools and make sure everything is still tight!

Also for all of those that I call daily complaining that this (potty training) has been the hardest thing to do ever in my life, I want everyone to know that it has been a few days and no accidents for Asher! I am still expecting the occasional out of nowhere accident, however it is safe to say that my kid can pee on the potty! YEah!!!!

They can't be serious..can they?

The day after this aired, I was showing it to all of my co-workers. I thought that it was the best piece of political news I had seen since this whole Presidential race started. Now it looks like I wasn't the only one who thought that it was fetching hilarious, it has had more than 3 Million hits in one week. In case you missed it click here, sit back for a few minutes, and enjoy.

The time has come!

Individual tickets for the RSL games in the new Stadium this October have just gone on sale! Genna and I already have tickets for the Thursday October 9th game but we do not have tickets yet for the Saturday October 18th game. So we were wondering if any of you guys would like to buy seats next to us and maybe go out to dinner with us before or after the game? Even if you are not a soccer fan it would be fun to have you come, I have a few co-workers that are anything but soccer fans and they really enjoy going to the RSL games anyway. And our boys really enjoy going to the games as well (kids age three and under don't need a ticket and can sit on laps in Rice Eccles Stadium where they currently play, so I imagine it will be the same in the new stadium). So let us know within the next week or so if you can and want to go together, we need to get tickets soon because I am afraid these games are going to sell out. Let us know. Its on!

I knew sooner or later this day (or night) was coming, I just didn't expect the perpetrators to be such pansies!

As you can see by the photo's this could barley be described as a toilet paper job at all. Honestly I think Asher and Maddux could have thrown toilet paper higher into my trees!

And what is with leaving nearly full rolls of toilet paper on the lawn? Were you in some kind of hurry to get out of here? I have not seen faster runners anywhere but the Olympics!
Now I can only truly say that I positively identified one individual, but you are all suspects, even if you told me you were going to be in Idaho this weekend! Just so you guys understand, last night you started a war that you will not win. There are such things as babysitters, and I know where you guys currently live (and where you are moving to)! And yes a townhome can be toilet papered!

ITS ON!

Happy Anniversary!

Devron and I have been married for 5 years! We met because of my cousin and his brother, they were already married, and set the 2 of us up on a date. He came to the door saying Hi! I'm Elder Andersen! This was of course 2 days after he got off his mission. I like to tell everyone I know that after that date, I didn't think we would EVER date again. I was close to positive about that. But somehow or another Dev turned on his charm, and 6 months later we were married. These 5 years have been a journey. We have moved more times than I can count, from Logan Utah to Tucson Arizona and back again. I like to think that not every day is easy, but looking back we have had allot of fun! We have 2 boys that mean more to me than words can say. And I have a husband that has been there for me, right beside me everyday since I met him. Devron is my best friend, and the most honest and true person that I know. Thanks for being so amazing! Happy Anniversary!
